During the call he congratulated his counterpart's victory over Jair Bolsorano, the first sitting President of Brazil to lose a re-election bid.

Eurozone inflation reached a record 10.7% in October according to flash estimates from the European Union's statistics agency.
That's up from 9.9% in September, which was already an all-time high.
