America’s longest war may be over, but the fight for the legacy of the president who ended it, has only just begun.

US President Biden faces a political backlash so strong that even his supporters wonder whether he can survive it. 


And a day after the last US planes left Kabul, some two hundred Americans remain stranded- making it impossible for Joe Biden to draw a line under Afghanistan.

America's longest war is over….after 20 years, there are no US troops or diplomats in Afghanistan.


The final flight out of Hamid Karzai International Airport left 24 hours ahead of President Biden's deadline of August 31st.
