Opposition and Government Sit Down for Talks in Venezuela

Symbolic handshakes started Vatican-led talks between Venezuela's President Nicolas Maduro and some of Venezuela's opposition leaders. 

Both sides have agreed on an agenda for a long-term dialogue focused on ending years of social and political conflict.

US Justice Dept. moving quickly to sort Clinton emails

The U.S. Justice Department has sent a letter to key lawmakers promising they will quickly sort through the many emails which may involve Hillary Clinton.

Late last week, FBI Director James Comey confirmed that 650,00 emails were found on a laptop owned by disgraced former Congressman Anthony Weiner, but the content of the emails remains unknown.

US diplomats travel to Venezuela for talks

The United States is sending a top diplomat to Venezuela to support talks between the Venezuelan government and the opposition.

The White House is refusing to criticize and to defend FBI director James Comey's decision to inform lawmakers and the U.S. public that an additional trove of Hillary Clinton emails had been found on a laptop owned by her aide's estranged husband.

N. Dakota Pipeline Protest Attracts Celebs, Social Media Attention

Warrant granted allowing FBI to start trawling through thousands of fresh "Clinton" e-mails.

The US Justice Department has now obtained a warrant to review thousands of e-mails that have been found on electronic devices owned by a top aide to Hillary Clinton and a disgraced former New York Congressman.

Reports: FBI find 650,000 e-mails on Abedin/Wiener devices

Reports in the United States suggest that 650 thousand e-mails have been found by the FBI on electronic devices that belong to one of Hillary Clinton's top aides and her estranged husband, disgraced Congressman Anthony Weiner.


The FBI is now preparing for weeks of work in a bid to see whether any of the e-mails raise further questions about Mrs. Clinton's handling of classified information when she was Secretary of State.

Hillary Clinton's campaign team have attacked FBI Director James Comey over his decision to launch a new inquiry into Hillary Clinton's email use.

The US Justice Department advised the FBI not to inform congress of the new investigation, according to reports.

Clinton campaign chair John Podesta told CNN that the FBI announcement was "long on innuendo and short on fact."

Clinton: FBI Should Release All the Information It Has

Hillary Clinton has said the FBI should release 'whatever facts they claim to have', after the organisation's director announced it would be investigating more of her emails.

The latest correspondence came to light during a separate inquiry into Anthony Weiner, who was caught texting a 15 year old girl and is the estranged husband of one of her top aides.

Clinton demands more information about new documents under FBI investigation

Hillary Clinton is demanding that the FBI release more details about a new batch of e-mails they're reviewing with regard to Mrs. Clinton's handling of classified information while she was Secretary of State.

In her first public comments on the bombshell announcement made in Washington, Mrs. Clinton said it is "incumbent"  on the FBI to provide her campaign with more information.

UN General Assembly votes Russia off of Human Rights Council
