Kobe Bryant helicopter wasn’t legal to fly in poor visibility

It's been revealed the helicopter that crashed killing basketball
legend Kobe Bryant, was not legally allowed to fly in poor weather
conditions.

Nine people died in the incident that happened in heavy fog last weekend.

First repatriation flight touches down in France

The first plane bringing back French citizens from Wuhan has arrived in France, touching down at a military base in the south of the country.

The passengers will now be put into quarantine for 14-days to test that they do not have the coronavirus.

Delay to coronavirus evacuation flight leaves Britons stuck in Wuhan

A flight scheduled to bring about 200 British nationals back to the UK from Wuhan has been unable to take off. The flight was supposed to leave on Thursday from the Chinese city, where the coronavirus outbreak emerged. 


The reason for the delay is that relevant permissions from Chinese officials have not yet come through.


The UK Foreign Office says it's "working urgently" to organise a flight "as soon as possible."

US "disappointed" by UK 5G decision on Huawei

The US says it's "disappointed" by the Government's decision to give Huawei approval to play a limited role in the build-out of Britain's 5G network.


The Trump administration has threatened to withdraw intelligence co-operation with the UK over the decision.

Trump Set to Release Middle East Peace Plan

U.S. President Trump has invited Arab and European diplomats to the White House Tuesday to witness the unveiling of his long-awaited Middle East peace plan, together with the embattled Israeli Prime Minister, Benjamin Netanyahu.  It comes after Mr. Trump invited Netanyahu and his main political opponent, Benny Gantz, to the White House Monday.

HUAWEI 5G NETWORK *WILL* BE DEVELOPED IN UK

The UK has decided to allow development of 5G infrastructure by Chinese telecoms giant Huawei, despite pressure against such a move from the US.

Washington has warned of repercussions to intelligence sharing if development goes ahead, and Beijing has threatened trade and investment repercussions if it does not.

The UK has decided on a compromise which allows Huawei to develop 5G infrastructure but keeps it away from the most sensitive parts of the mobile network.
