American employment will be in focus on Wall Street this week with investors keen to know how recent coronavirus outbreaks have impacted the labor market.


And after an unemployment benefit program expired last week traders will be watching to see whether Washington can agree on another stimulus measure.

Ghislaine Maxwell court papers released

NEW CORONAVIRUS RESTRICTIONS IN NORTHERN ENGLAND

India sees record daily surge in Covid-19 infections

India has seen yet another record daily spike in its number of coronavirus cases, with more than 55,000 fresh infections recorded in the past 24 hours, according to data released by the country's ministry of health on Friday.

This comes as the government has permitted further easing of the country's lockdown restrictions from the beginning of August.

The coronavirus death toll in the United States has topped 150,000 with the country leading the globe in the number of cases and fatalities.

The milestone comes on the heels of the US hitting four-million confirmed infections, doubling its total case count in six weeks.

57% of Mumbai's slum residents may have been exposed to COVID19

A serological survey conducted in Mumbai has found that one in four people in the city could have been exposed to the coronavirus.

Korea auto import group suspends chairman as anger grows over sex abuse claims
