Coronavirus deaths in the US pass 150,000, the worst in the world

The coronavirus death toll in the United States has topped 150,000 with the country leading the globe in the number of cases and fatalities.

The milestone comes on the heels of the US hitting four-million confirmed infections, doubling its total case count in six weeks.
