UK GOVT URGED TO TACKLE 'MIGRANT CRISIS'

The UK Government is being urged to tackle a migrant crisis, after poor conditions at a processing centre in southern England were highlighted by an immigration watchdog.

Minister for Immigration Robert Jenrick has visited the Manston facility in Kent after the inspection left officials 'speechless' about conditions.
 
Hundreds of migrants are crossing the English Channel in boats daily to reach Britain's south coast.

Environment minister Mark Spencer admits the government needs to do more.
