EXPORTS THROUGH THE BLACK SEA INITIATIVE UNDER THREAT

The Black Sea Grain Initiative's future hangs in the balance.
This follows Russia's decision to temporarily withdraw from the
initiative this weekend.
On 29 October, Russia issued a statement accusing Ukraine of carrying
out drone attacks against Russian ships and infrastructure at its
naval base in Sevastopol.
Russia and Ukraine reached an agreement in July to allow for the
export of grain and related foodstuffs and fertilisers from Ukrainian
ports despite the war.
