UK Government reassures MPs over 'sweeping powers' in EU Withdrawal Bill
British Politicians are seeking reassurances from the UK Government that it will limit the 'sweeping powers' included in its EU Withdrawal Bill.
The Bill converts all EU law into UK law as the country prepares for Brexit, it was backed by 326 votes to 290 in Parliament, indicating concerns that it amounts to a 'power grab' by the Government

RSC Founder Sir Peter Hall dies at 86
The founder of the UK's Royal Shakespeare Company, Sir Peter Hall has died at the age of 86.
The man many refer to as the godfather of British theatre had been diagnosed with dementia in 2011.
