The same sex marriage debate is moving in to full swing in Australia with the potential for Yes and No campaigners in the same-sex marriage survey to face fines or jail if their material includes hate speech.
The coalition joint party room is understood to have endorsed a bill which would ensure all campaign material is authorised and the courts could deal with complaints of vilification.
