Poland claims legal right to German war reparations claim

A parliamentary committee in Poland says it believes that Poland still has legal grounds for compensation from Germany over damages suffered during the second world war.

The decision comes amid sharp criticism from Berlin over a controversial Polish plan to overhaul its judicial system.
