Thousands of babies have been born with underdeveloped brians which scientists believe is caused by mothers contractting the zike virus.

Syria talks underway following Aleppo clashes

Syrian government forces and rebels have clashed near a supply route
into the city of Aleppo.

It's the first major government offensive in the area, for nearly a

UN call on Turkey to investigate alleged shooting

The chief human rights official at the United Nations has called on
Turkey to investigate an apparent shooting of unarmed civilians.

PENTAGON: Operation to 'grind down and destroy' ISIS making progress


The man in charge of the US-led coalition fight against ISIS says the mission to grind down and defeat ISIS is making progress.  

It was General Sean Mcfarland's first press briefing since being appointed to commander of Inherent Resolve last year. 

He said air strikes will continue across Islamic State's so-called caliphate and the US military will maintain the train and equip program introduced into the campaign.

Speaking from Baghdad General Mcfarland, said the 18 month campaign had seen successes in Iraq, but conceded Syria still posed a complex challenge...

Russian politician blames Chechen leader for death threat

The leader of Russia's PARNAS opposition party Mikhail Kasyanov has said that a video posted on the Chechen leader's social media page was a direct death threat.

British and EU diplomats in crunch talks over renegotiation deal

Hillary email questions cause political woes
