Bavarian leader prepares for Putin visit

The leader of the German state of Bavaria plans to travel to Moscow Thursday to hold talks with Russian president Vladimir Putin. 

Some see the controversial visit as an attempt to undermine German chancellor Angela Merkel's refugee policy.
