Missing fighter jet found, investigation into what brought it down begins

Investigators have started collecting debris from a stealth fighter jet that crashed over the weekend in South Carolina.  The plane was found Monday after it disappeared mid-flight and the pilot was forced to eject. Toni Waterman has more.

Guterres calls for an end to the war in Ukraine

United Nations Secretary General, Antonio Guterres has once again
criticised Russia's war against Ukraine.
Speaking in New York on Tuesday, Guterres said member states must
uphold the UN Charter's pledge for peace.
The Secretary General told world leaders that by ignoring global
treaties and conventions makes everyone in the world less safe.

American prisoners freed form Iran land back in US

Five American citizens held captive for years in Iran have landed back in the United States following a prisoner swap.


The four men and one woman, who also hold Iranian passports, touched down just outside the US capital on Tuesday morning.

Nigeria’s Government, Labour Union's Meeting To Prevent Indefinite Strike Ends In Deadlock

A meeting between the Federal Government and the Nigeria Labour Congress to avert an imminent strike action ended on Monday without a concrete resolution to the union's demands.


The union of workers had threatened to embark on an indefinite strike over the rising cost of living worsened by a removal of subsidy on petrol.

India denies allegation of Delhi's involvement in killing of Canadian Sikh leader

The Indian government has denied Canada's allegations that New Delhi was involved in the murder of a Sikh leader.

United Nations Secretary General, António Guterres has warned that the
Sustainable Development Goals are off-track.

said the time has come for a global plan to rescue the SDG's ahead of
