A meeting between the Federal Government and the Nigeria Labour Congress to avert an imminent strike action ended on Monday without a concrete resolution to the union's demands.
The union of workers had threatened to embark on an indefinite strike over the rising cost of living worsened by a removal of subsidy on petrol.
They are demanding an increase in workers salaries among others to help them cope with the impact of the subsidy removal
