UN General Assembly president urges world leaders to re-commit to SDG's

UN General Assembly President, Dennis Francis says despite commitments
by World Leaders 1.2 billion people are still living in poverty.
Francis was speaking at the opening of the Sustainable Development
Goals summit in New York on Monday.
The General Assembly President has urged World Leaders to accelerate
the implementation of the SGD's, which are already far off their 2030
deadline.
