US looks abroad to address baby formula shortage

The Biden administration is touting new efforts by the Food and Drug Administration to relieve the baby formula shortage that is causing major problems for many parents.

Formula supplies have been hit hard since manufacturer Abbott recalled products earlier this year after complaints of bacterial infections.

US Easing Sanctions Imposed on Cuba by Trump Admin

The US plans to ease sanctions imposed on Cuba by the Trump administration.

President Biden is urging Americans to rise up and condemn white supremacy, saying the country's "experiment in democracy is in danger".


He was speaking after visiting families of those 10 people killed during Saturday's mass shooting at a supermarket in Buffalo, New York that targeted black shoppers.

The 18 year-old suspect is accused of murder, and allegedly wrote a 180-page manifesto espousing racist conspiracy theories.


The President visited the scene, met with families, and then spoke to the community.

US says hypersonic missile test is successful

Nigerian Govt. Orders Resumption Of Train Services Between Abuja & Kaduna

The Nigerian government has directed for train services to resume between the nation's capital Abuja and Kaduna state in the country's northwest on May 23rd.

 

Train services on the route were suspended in March this year after gunmen attacked a train, fatally shot at some passengers and kidnapped others, many of whom are still held hostage.

Over 200 Ukrainian troops evacuated from Azovstal steelworks

Around 260 Ukrainian soldiers have been evacuated from the Azovstal Steel Plant in Mariupol.

North Korea COVID infections near 1.5 million
