S&P hits lowest level for more than a year

Wall Street saw another sell-off on Thursday as investors reacted to
signs of a prolonged market downturn.

The S&P fell to its lowest level in more than a year.

QUEEN ELIZABETH TO MISS STATE OPENING OF PARLIAMENT

KEIR STARMER TO RESIGN IF FINED BY POLICE

Putin claims Ukraine invasion was sparked by NATO threat to invade Russia

Russia's President Vladimir Putin has accused the West of preparing an

invasion of the country.


In a highly anticipated speech commemorating  the Soviet Union's role in the allied victory over the Nazis in World War Two, Putin said the invasion of Ukraine was a preventative strike by Russia.

Macron proposes new "European political community" as Ukraine awaits EU membership news

French President Emmanuel Macron has warned it could take decades for Ukraine to become a member of the European Union, and says the bloc should consider creating a broader European political community.

EU Chief stops in Texas to chat free speech with Elon Musk

US announces new Russia sanctions

The Biden Administration has announced new Russian sanctions announced over the war in Ukraine.

The measures target three Russian TV outlets and include a ban on Americans offering accounting or consulting services to Russian nationals as well as visa restrictions on thousands of Russian and Belarussian officials.
