Facebook hits the breaks on ‘Instagram Kids’

Facebook said Monday that it was pausing work on Instagram Kids, the highly controversial project meant for children aged 10 to 12 years old.

The pause comes after a Wall Street Journal report revealed that Facebook's own research found the Instagram app to be toxic for teenagers.

NEW GAS DEAL BETWEEN HUNGARY & RUSSIA SPARKS SPAT WITH UKRAINE

Russian gas giant Gazprom has signed a new long-term supply agreement with Hungary that would bypass Ukraine.

Indian farmers hold nationwide protest

A year since India implemented new laws aimed at liberalising the farming sector, thousands of farmers have blocked roads and railway tracks across the country.  

Forty farmer unions have been protesting against these laws for nearly a year now even as the government has refused to give in and scrap the laws.

Eleven rounds of talks have failed.

UK CONSIDERS ARMY FUEL DELIVERIES

The UK government's considering calling in the military to drive fuel tankers to petrol stations amid shortages caused by panic buying.

There's no shortage of fuel nationwide, but there is a lack of HGV drivers in the country.
