Russian gas giant Gazprom has signed a new long-term supply agreement with Hungary that would bypass Ukraine.
In response, Ukraine's Foreign Ministry slammed what it says was a political decision, made to please Hungary's allies in the Kremlin.
Hungary's Minister of Foreign Affairs insists the deal is "non-political", and is instead about "security, sovereignty, and economics."
