US authorities are investigating a train derailment in the state of
Montana that killed three people and injured 50 others.
The Amtrak passenger train came off the tracks in a remote area near
the town of Joplin.
The US National Transportation Safety Board has launched an investigation.
Reporter Jake Ward says the train derailed in good weather and on a
straight stretch of track.
