Harry and Meghan announce birth of second child


The Duke and Duchess of Sussex - or Harry and Meghan - have announced the arrival of their second child.

Lilibet "Lili" Diana Mountbatten-Windsor was born on Friday in a hospital in California, where the couple now live.

Trump slams Facebook after announcement of 2-year ban

President Trump will remain banned from Facebook and Instagram until January 2023, meaning that he will no have access to those social media platforms during next year's mid-term elections in America.

Facebook suspends Trump until 2023

Facebook will continue to keep former US president Donald Trump off its platform until at least January of 2023.

The decision comes as the result of new rules for how the social media giant says it will treat public figures.

EU ambassadors agree to close bloc airspace to Belarusian planes

European Union ambassadors have agreed to close the bloc's airspace to Belarusian carriers.

That means airlines from the EU's eastern neighbour are barred from flying over the 27-member bloc's territories, or land in any of its airports.

 The agreement cements a decision by EU leaders to punish Minsk, over the forced landing of a Ryanair jet to arrest a journalist.

Welsh First Minister concerned over the potential spread of Delta variant from other parts of UK

Coronavirus restrictions in Wales will ease further from Monday.


The easing of the country's restrictions means large outdoor activities and events will resume from June 7.


That means concerts and sporting events like football matches will be allowed to host 4,000 people non-seated and 10,000 seated.


Following that, groups of people from 3 households will be allowed to meet.


But despite the plan for Wales to gradually ease its coronavirus restrictions, its First Minister Mark Drakeford has concerns over the spread of the Delta variant.

UFO report does not find or rule out alien activity

Fury over UK traffic light travel system changes

Portugal has questioned the UK's "logic" after Britain removed the country from its travel green list.
