Welsh First Minister concerned over the potential spread of Delta variant from other parts of UK

Coronavirus restrictions in Wales will ease further from Monday.

The easing of the country's restrictions means large outdoor activities and events will resume from June 7.

That means concerts and sporting events like football matches will be allowed to host 4,000 people non-seated and 10,000 seated.

Following that, groups of people from 3 households will be allowed to meet.

But despite the plan for Wales to gradually ease its coronavirus restrictions, its First Minister Mark Drakeford has concerns over the spread of the Delta variant.
