Hillary Clinton regrets not firing spiritual aide in 2008
May says she's not a quitter as she talks trade in China
British Prime Minister Theresa May has vowed that she is not a quitter. This in response to criticism from her own Conservative party that she is not effectively leading the country in Brexit negotiations.
The British leader said she had no plans to quit as she talked to journalists en route to China although did not directly address recent criticism from some of her backbench MPs who have mooted the idea of a leadership challenge.
Following a welcome ceremony hosted by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing, Theresa May said her government is getting on with the job of parting with the European Union.

Second Phase of South Sudan peace talks to begin
The second phase of the high level revitalization forum of the South Sudan peace agreement will begin in Ethiopia's capital Addis Ababa on 5th February.
The process seeks to encourage warring partiesin South Sudan to fully implement the peace agreement they signed in 2015.

Tonne of bear paws seized in Russia
A gang carrying more than one tonne of bear paws and the body parts of four Siberian tigers have been detained in the Far East of Russia, according to a wildlife organisation there. The Indian government wants to deport the refugees on the grounds that they pose a threat to national security. The move has been challenged in India's highest court by Rohingya refugees.

UN: 60,000 North Korean children at risk of lethal malnutrition
The United Nations warns that 60,000 children in North Korea could die
of starvation due to slowing aid deliveries brought on by
international sanctions on the country.
A fresh round of sanctions from major world powers has caused
operational challenges for agencies to deliver food, vaccines and
other life saving supplies.

Russia has accused the US Treasury of using this blacklist to try and meddle in it's political affairs.
