British Prime Minister Theresa May has vowed that she is not a quitter. This in response to criticism from her own Conservative party that she is not effectively leading the country in Brexit negotiations.
The British leader said she had no plans to quit as she talked to journalists en route to China although did not directly address recent criticism from some of her backbench MPs who have mooted the idea of a leadership challenge.
Following a welcome ceremony hosted by Chinese Premier Li Keqiang in Beijing, Theresa May said her government is getting on with the job of parting with the European Union.
