Aldi pulls all eggs from German stores over insecticide fears

Two German supermarket chains announced they will temporarily stop selling eggs over worries about contamination by a dangerous insecticide.

The problem originated on farms in the Netherlands, and German officials estimate that three million contaminated eggs have crossed the border to Germany in recent weeks.

Kremlin critic Aleksey Navalny fined for canvassing violations

Criminal Investigation Launched After Millions of Eggs Recalled in Europe

Millions of eggs from Dutch farms are being recalled after some were found to have high levels of an insecticide banned in food production. 

Now 180 Dutch farms have been temporarily closed and a criminal investigation has been launched.

After China warns India of consequences over border stand-off, India says war not a solution

China's Deputy Chief of Mission in India has told the Indian media that Indian troops should be withdrawn immediately or there will be 'serious consequences.'

This comes just a few days after China's Foreign Ministry asked India to act on its promise of wanting peace in the region.

India's Foreign Minister has told Parliament that while India's Army is ready for any eventuality, war is not the solution.

Trump calls Russia probe 'total fabrication' during West Virginia rally

The U.S. President has once again slammed the ongoing Russian investigation as a total fabrication.

Donald Trump was speaking at a rally in West Virginia when he addressed the federal probe led by a Special Counsel into alleged Kremlin interference in the U.S. election and possible collusion with the Trump Campaign.

He's been heralded as the the man who stopped the WannaCry ransom-ware attack that nearly disabled hospitals and factories around the world.

At least three killed in Afghan suicide bombing

Officials in Afghanistan say that at least three civilians have been
killed after a suicide bomber struck a military convoy.

Five U.S. soldiers are also believed to have been injured.

This comes just a day after two Americans were killed in an attack
near the Afghan city of Kandahar.

Reports: Grand Jury sitting in Washington to consider Russia probe evidence

The Wall Street Journal newspaper is reporting that Special Prosecutor Robert Mueller has impaneled a grand jury in Washington - a clear sign that his investigation into Russia's interference in last year's Presidential election is gathering pace.

Call transcripts show clashes between Trump, Pena Nieto, Turnball

In the first days of his presidency, Donald Trump urged Mexican President Enrique Pena Nieto to stop saying he wouldn't pay for a border wall between the two countries, saying it put him in a hard spot politically.

'Three Museteers' Handed Life Sentences

Trump: Russia relations at 'dangerous low'

EU council president in Polish court over Smolensk plane crash

The president of the European Council Donald Tusk is testifying in court regarding his oversight of an inquiry into the Smolensk plane crash.

96 people, including the then Polish president, died when a passenger jet crashed near Smolensk in Russia in 2010.
