Aldi pulls all eggs from German stores over insecticide fears

Two German supermarket chains announced they will temporarily stop selling eggs over worries about contamination by a dangerous insecticide.

The problem originated on farms in the Netherlands, and German officials estimate that three million contaminated eggs have crossed the border to Germany in recent weeks.
