CAMERON UNDER PRESSURE OVER SYRIA DRONE STRIKE

Britain's opposition Labour Party says the UK government should publish the legal basis for a drone strike in Syria which killed two British militants from the Islamic State.

Prime Minister David Cameron revealed on Monday that the first ever targeted UK drone attack on a Briton had killed the pair.

Mr Cameron says it was an 'act of self defence' as they had been preparing attacks on British soil.

UK MPs have previously voted against taking military action inside Syria.

Keith Vaz MP is chair of the Home Affairs Select Committee and says the drone strike does serve one key purpose.
