Greece Confirms US Wants Greek Airspace Closed To Russian Flights

America has asked Greece to deny Russia the use of its airspace for supply flights to Syria. A Greek official said Monday the request is a reaction to reports of a Russian military build up in the region. Russia sends regular flights to the Syrian port city Latakia, and has a naval maintenance facility in the town of Tartous.
