Flight cancellations set to begin as shutdown drags on

Flight cancellations are set to begin Friday at a number of US airports as a result of the government shutdown, now in its 37th day.


Trump administration officials say the move is an attempt to relieve some of the pressure on air traffic controllers, who haven't been paid since mid-October.

Putin orders proposals on resuming nuclear weapons tests

Humanitarian organizations say not enough aid is reaching Gaza nearly four weeks since the ceasefire

Aid organizations are warning that insufficient supplies of food and shelter are entering the Gaza Strip, as winter approaches.
