French opposition tries to force Emmanuel Macron to resign

The far-left French opposition party France Unbowed says it will formally start a process on 23 September to try to force President Macron to resign.

The party also says that if the prime minister, François Bayrou, loses a confidence vote that he has called in himself for 8 September, then President Macron should step down.

U.S. Federal Reserve Chair hints at interest rate cut
