U.S. Federal Reserve Chair hints at interest rate cut

The Chair of the U.S. Federal Reserve has hinted that a central bank rate cut could be coming as soon as next month, and said the effects of the President's trade war are now clearly visible.

The speech was billed as perhaps the most important of Jerome Powell's career, following months of attacks by Donald Trump for not cutting interest rates.
