Several passengers hospitalized after turbulent flight

Seven passengers have been hospitalized after the plane they were on hit severe turbulence Wednesday night. The Lufthansa flight was traveling from Austin, Texas to Frankfurt, Germany when it was forced to divert to Washington, D.C.

NASA launches new mission into space

SpaceX and NASA have launched a four-man crew on a mission to the International Space Station.

US approves potential $619 million arms sale to Taiwan

The United States has approved the potential sale of $619 million of weapons to Taiwan, including hundreds of missiles for F-16 fighter jets.


China claims the island as its own territory and the arms sale is likely to further inflame tensions between Washington and Beijing.


It comes as Taiwan reported a second day of large-scale Chinese air force incursions.

Eurozone inflation down for third month running

INDIA HOSTS G20 MINISTERS

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has told Foreign Ministers gathered for a G20 summit in Delhi that there's an urgent need for unity of purpose and action.

Hong Kong calls for a probe after another anthem switch

The Hong Kong government is demanding an investigation into how an anti-government protest song was played instead of the Chinese national anthem at an international ice hockey game. US stocks dip following manufacturing data

US stocks dipped on Wednesday after data showed manufacturing activity slowed in February for the fourth consecutive month.


The Institute for Supply Management's February survey showed data came in above analysts' projections.

Foreign enemy not responsible for ‘Havana syndrome’ - US intelligence report

A new report by US intelligence agencies says there is no "credible evidence" that a foreign adversary is to blame for the mysterious aliment known as Havana syndrome.

US insulin-maker caps monthly cost at $35

Drugmaker Eli Lilly has announced a $35 cap on the monthly cost of insulin, in response to public and presidential pressure over the cots of the diabetes medication.

Ghislaine Maxwell launches appeal against sex trafficking conviction
