The governments of the United Kingdom and the United States of America have congratulated Nigeria president-elect following his victory at the 2023 polls.
Bola Ahmed Tinubu was declared winner of the February 25th election after scoring 36 percent of the votes cast.
The election results are however being disputed by opposition parties who have threatened legal action against the country's Election commission.
