Ms Truss defeated rival Rishi Sunak to become the new leader of the Conservative Party. In her first speech outside Downing Street the UK's third female Prime Minister promised to work to boost economic growth.

Canadian police hunt remaining suspect in stabbing deaths
Canadian police are hunting for the remaining suspect in the stabbing deaths of 10 people in the province of Saskatchewan after finding the body of his brother amid a massive manhunt for the pair.

Liz Truss has officially taken over from Boris Johnson as the next British Prime Minister.
The former foreign secretary was asked to form a new government by the Queen on Tuesday in Balmoral Castle, Scotland.

Nigeria Suspends 5% Tax on Telecom Services

Minister of Communications and Digital Economy, Isa Pantami, who announced this on Monday said the sector is already overburdened by excessive and multiple taxations.
