Sri Lankan army tasked with restoring order as protestors await President's resignation

Australia – Father of victim to sue Catholic Church and Cardinal

The father of a former choirboy is attempting to sue the Catholic Church and Cardinal George Pell.

Pell was found guilty of abusing two choirboys in December of 1996, but the convictions were unanimously QUASHED by the Australian High Court.

Abe shooter originally targeted South Korean religious leader

The suspect in former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's fatal shooting originally planned to kill the head of a religious organization founded in South Korea.

That's according to investigators, who say Tetsuya Yamagami targeted Abe instead because of COVID-19 travel restrictions.

Parents outraged Uvalde school shooting video leaked to media

Parents who lost their children in the Uvalde school massacre are livid that video surveillance capturing the attack was leaked to the media.

The Austin-American Statesman and ABC-affiliate KVUE (prono: K-View) posted the entire 82 minutes of the mass shooting that left 19 children and two teachers dead in May.

Biden arrives in Israel at start of controversial trip

President Biden has arrived in Israel at the start of a controversial overseas trip that will include additional stops in the West Bank and Saudi Arabia.


He visited  the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial and on Thursday will hold talks with the country's caretaker prime minister Yair Lapid.

Eight Conservative leader candidates through to first stage of voting

Voting for the next Conservative party leader in the UK will open on Wednesday.


Eight candidates must receive at least 30 votes from their fellow MPs to proceed to the next round.
