Abe shooter originally targeted South Korean religious leader

The suspect in former Prime Minister Shinzo Abe's fatal shooting originally planned to kill the head of a religious organization founded in South Korea.

That's according to investigators, who say Tetsuya Yamagami targeted Abe instead because of COVID-19 travel restrictions.
