Hope Hicks, who is the President's counselor, travelled with the President on Air Force One several times this week.

Texas Governor limits early mail-in voting sites

California to Consider Reparations for Slavery

California has passed a law creating a task force to explore how the state might provide reparations for slavery.


It's the first bill of its kind in any US state.

US jobless claims remain under 1 million but thousands more layoffs to come

The number of people claiming unemployment insurance for the first time in the US, has remained under a million for the fifth consecutive week.


But at 873,000, the total is still well above anything the U.S. had seen since before the pandemic.


More recently announced layoffs suggest the labor market is going to become weaker after several months of gains.

Study finds Trump "largest driver" of COVID-19 misinformation

US President Trump is the biggest driver of COVID-19 misinformation,
according to a study that analyzed 38 million global news articles.

EU announces legal action against the UK on Brexit deals infringments

The EU has announced it's taking legal action against the UK over controversial plans to undercut the Brexit divorce treaty.

Navalny blames Putin for poisoning

INTRO Aleksey Navalny says he is convinced that Russian President Vladimir Putin was behind his suspected poisoning. The Kremlin critic made the claim in his first interview after the incident which he gave to the German magazine "Der Spiegel". India's total coronavirus infections reach 6.3 million

Hong Kong government defiant over national security law
