Hong Kong government defiant over national security law

Hong Kong's Chief Executive Carrie Lam has dismissed international criticism of the city's national security law, saying it has restored balance to the city. In a speech to mark the National Day holiday she said the Hong Kong government was committed to fully implementing the legislation.
