32,000 U.S. airline workers set to be furloughed

Two of the biggest airline carriers in the United States have
announced that they have begun the process of laying off more than
32,000 workers.

The announcement from American Airlines and United comes as U.S.
lawmakers have failed to pass another coronavirus spending package.
