Chile cancels upcoming APEC and climate summits amid protests

Chile's president Sebastián Piñera has cancelled two major global

Syria talks begin on new constitution

United Nations talks have begun in Geneva aimed at drafting a new
constitution for Syria that could lead to elections.

Grenfell Survivors Welcome Support

A 1000 page report following an inquiry into the Grenfell Tower blaze, which killed 72 people in London has been released.


The fire which took place in June 2017 was the biggest loss of life in London since the Second World War.


Survivors have welcomed the report, which heavily criticised the actions of the London Fire Brigade and their preparedness for a blaze of this scale.

UK Politicians Prepare For December Election

French car manufacturer PSA confirms merger talks with FIAT


French car manufacturing group PSA has confirmed it is in talks with FIAT Chrysler Automobiles about a potential merger.

Indigo buys three hundred A320 Neo jets from Airbus

Carmakers PSA and Fiat confirm merger talks

36 million people in India at risk from coastal flooding, study says

UNHCR urges Tanzania government to ensure Burundi refugees return must be voluntary and not forced

The UN Refugee Agency has made another call to the Tanzanian and Burundi governments to ensure that refugees returning from Tanzania to Burundi must do so voluntarily and not be pressured in any way. Boeing boss testifies to US Congress over fatal 737 MAX crashes
