Chile cancels upcoming APEC and climate summits amid protests

Chile's president Sebastián Piñera has cancelled two major global
summits as the government continues to grapple with a wave of
political unrest.

The country was due to host the APEC trade forum in November and the
COP 25 climate summit the month after that.
