European Commission Proposes No-Deal funding to be taken from emergency funds
The European Commission is proposing using the European Solidarity Fund - which is usually reserved for disasters such as earthquakes and floods - to prop-up member states impacted by a no-deal Brexit.
It has reiterated its calls for the EU27 countries to prepare for a no-deal scenario, which the Commission says remains a possible outcome, despite the political uncertainty in Britain.
