Pres. Trump lacks authority to target DPRK - Democrats

Congressional Democrats are sending a letter to the White House to warn U.S. President Donald Trump that he does not have the authority to attack North Korea in any way.

The Washington Post also reports, the American president has been requesting more options for a limited "bloody nose" strike against the regime of Kim Jong Un.

Australian Labor swings support away from Adani Coal Mine

In Australia the Labor party has shifted its support for the Adani coal mine in Queensland, but the Greens Party say they're sceptical until they see an "iron-clad promise" it will never be built.

Australian Stock Market plummets following Friday's Wall Street fall.

German coalition talks extend into Monday

Germany's leading parties failed to meet a self-imposed Sunday deadline to finalize an agreement on a new governing coalition and are continuing negotiations.

India begins talks to buy Israeli missiles

US Imposes Arms Embargo on South Sudan
