KT McFarland withdraws as Singapore ambassador nominee

President Trump's nominee to be US ambassador to Singapore has asked to withdraw her nomination.

KT McFarland had seen her confirmation in Congress stall over concerns about her knowledge of contacts between the Trump campaign and Russia.
