'Bomb Cyclone' Pummels US East Coast with Winter Storm

The east coast of the United States is being pummelled by a major winter storm.

It's being classified as a 'bomb cyclone' due to a sharp fall in atmospheric pressure.

Much of the east coast has been hit, but the northeast of the country is bearing the brunt of the ice, sleet, and snow.

That's locking up much of the region's transport infrastructure, stranding passengers at New York's La Guardia airport.
