Children's Commissioner England warns children ill-equipped to deal with social media

Many children starting secondary school are ill equipped to cope with the demands of social media. according to a report by the Children's Commissioner for England. 

Anne Long-field says three quarters of children between the ages of 10 and 12 have accounts, even though most platforms have a minimum age of 13.  

Head of online child safety at the UK's National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children, Tony Stower, says more needs to be done to prepare children.
