Dustin Hoffman, and other Hollywood actors hit with sexual harassment allegations

producer Harvey Weinstein continues to grow.

NYC suspect may be an 'enemy combatant' - White House

The Trump administration is confirming it's open to considering Sayfullo Saipov an 'enemy combatant' and trying to figure out how to send him to the detention center at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba as first suggested by U.S. President Donald Trump.

Sayfullo Saipov, originally from Uzbekistan, is the lead suspect in the New York City terror attack which left 8 dead.

Send Saipov to Guantanamo - Pres. Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump is open to sending the lead suspect in the New York City terror attack to Guantanamo Bay, Cuba.

Currently, Sayfullo Saipov is in Bellevue Hospital, receiving treatment for a gun shot wound received when a police officer fired, ending his brandishing of weapons and the attack as a whole.

Trump calls on Congress to end visa diversity lottery program

U.S. President Donald Trump has called for an end to America's diversity lottery program, blaming the visa system for allowing the suspect behind Tuesday's New York terror attack into the country.

Suspect inspired by Islamic State - NYC terror attack

The lead suspect in the attack in New York City which left 8 dead and another 12 injured was inspired by the Islamic State.

Security levels have been raised around the United States, especially for big events such as the upcoming New York City Marathon.

FBI investigators are questioning the alleged attacker of the New York City terrorist incident which left 8 people dead.

Sayfullo Saipov from Uzbekistan has been named as the driver of the rental truck which hit cyclists on a busy bike path in Manhattan.

Authorities are exploring his connections to ISIS, after a note was reportedly found pledging allegiance to the terror group.

Bhutan's Royals in India for a goodwill visit

Bhutan's King and his family are in India for a four day bilateral long visit.

This is the their first visit to India since New Delhi and Beijing ended a two month long border stand-off over the Doklam plateau.

Bhutan and China both claim Doklam as their own territory- while India maintained that it was interfering on behalf of its ally Bhutan.

Indian stocks hit new high on World Bank rankings

Reports: note linking New York truck attack suspect to Islamic State found inside vehicle


US media reports are identifying 29-year-old Sayfullo Saipov...originally from Uzbekistan...as the man arrested after the New York truck attack.

On Tuesday...a truck smashed into cyclists on a busy cycle path in Lower Manhattan...killing at least eight people.

Meanwhile reports also suggest that a note referring to the Islamic State was found inside the truck.

NYC officials: 8 dead in Manhattan attack, suspect shot and in custody

At least eight people have been killed and 15 others injured in New York City, after a truck plowed into pedestrians and cyclists on a section of the West Side Highway in Lower Manhattan. 

City officials say the suspect was shot and is now in police custody.

Mayor Bill de Blasio said the attack, which he called an especially cowardly act, is being investigated as a terrorism case. 


New York Police Commissioner said the truck also collided with a school bus, injuring two students and two adults. The suspect was shot by a police officer as he emerged from the vehicle.


Governor Andrew Cuomo says while it appears to be deliberate act, there does not appear to be a wider plot.



Tech Companies Testify re Election Interference

Top executives for Facebook Google and Twitter began two days of testimony on Capitol Hill with an appearance in front of the Senate Judiciary subcommittee on crime and terrorism. 

Lawmakers grilled the representatives for the social media giants about how their online platforms were used to spread misinformation and propaganda in the 2016 US presidential election.

At least 8 dead in New York City attack

At least 8 people are confirmed dead after a pick up truck slammed through a bicycle lane, knocking over cyclists and pedestrians in New York City.

The attack came just hours before millions were expected to don costumes to celebrate Halloween. 

New York City police arrested a 29-year-old suspect, shooting him in the leg to subdue him as he ran through the crowd, brandishing fake weapons.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio confirmed the attack.
