UK police say they believe they know the identities of the three attackers who killed 7 people in London on Saturday.

12 people have been arrested in east London in connection with the incident which started on London Bridge before moving to nearby Borough Market.

FRESH TERROR RAIDS IN LONDON

Police are carrying out fresh searches in east London related to Saturday's terror attack in which 7 people were killed.

Properties in Newham and Barking have been raided with several people detained.

Over the weekend 12 people were arrested, also in east London.

Bellingcat publishes new report on Russia's involvement in MH17 downing

At least 14 arrested as tempers flare between rival protestors in Portland, Oregon


At least 14 people were arrested in the US city of Portland, Oregon after rival political rallies clashed in a city square on Sunday.

Tempers flared when hundreds of supporters of US President Donald Trump encountered anti-Trump protestors in the Terry D. Schrunk Plaza.

First Victim of London Bridge Attack Named

A Canadian woman has been named as the first victim of the London Bridge attack.


Christine Archibald is one of seven people killed in the incident, after a van drove into pedestrians, before three men wielding knives stabbed members of the public.

50,000 music fans gather at concert to raise money for victims of Manchester bombing


50,000 music fans gathered at a concert in the UK to raise money for those affected by the Manchester suicide bombing.

Ariana Grande...whose show last month was hit by the attack that killed 22 people ...was joined by British bands like Coldplay at the One Love Manchester concert.

Head of US Environmental Protection Agency defends withdrawal from Paris climate change deal


The head of the US Environmental Protection Agency, Scott Pruitt, has defended President Donald Trump's decision to pull his country out of the Paris climate change deal.

President Trump announced on Thursday last week that the US will withdraw from the Paris accord, triggering widespread condemnation from environmental groups and world leaders.

12 people arrested as police investigate London Bridge terror attack

Twelve people have been arrested in a major police operation  in the UK after three men went on a rampage Saturday evening in central London, killing 7 people and injuring around 50 more.

Police say they're carrying out a number of raids in East London as they work to identify the attackers who drove a vehicle at pedestrians on London Bridge before stabbing people in nearby Borough Market.

Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley of the Metropolitan Police said they are confident that the three men acted without the help of others, however he said the police investigation would work until that possibility was ruled out.

UK PM condemns terror attack and promises robust response

The UK Prime Minister Theresa May has condemned the terror attack on London in which seven people have been killed and almost 50 injured.


In a robust statement outside 10 Downing Street, Mrs May said the UK would review its counter-terrorism strategy following this attack - the third the UK has faced in as many months.


Three attackers were shot dead by police after driving a vehicle into pedestrians before using knives to stab passers-by on a busy Saturday night in central London.

Police say London situation "under control"

British police say they believe the situation is now under control after  three men went on a driving and stabbing spree in central London Saturday evening, killed 7 people. 

The men were shot dead by armed police 8 minutes after receiving calls about the incident.   Police say they were all wearing bomb vests which turned out to be hoaxes. 

A further 48 people were injured, some critically, when a white van was driven at crowds in the London Bridge area of the city before 3 men ran to the busy Borough Market area and began stabbing people. 

Metropolitan Police Commissioner Cressida Dick says the priority will be finding if the three men had accomplices, however police believe the situation is under control.

White House confident travel ban will be upheld

The White House is confident that the U.S. Supreme Court will uphold the executive order limiting immigration from six majority Muslim nations.

A series of U.S. federal appeals courts have ruled that the so-called travel ban is unconstitutional.

The U.S. Justice Department as requested an emergency halt on the lower courts rulings to allow the travel ban to be implemented while the case goes to the nation's highest court.

U.S. President Donald Trump could chose to exercise executive privilege to keep his conversations with then FBI Director James Comey private.
