The White House is confident that the U.S. Supreme Court will uphold the executive order limiting immigration from six majority Muslim nations.
A series of U.S. federal appeals courts have ruled that the so-called travel ban is unconstitutional.
The U.S. Justice Department as requested an emergency halt on the lower courts rulings to allow the travel ban to be implemented while the case goes to the nation's highest court.
